Teen Volunteers

The KPL Teen Volunteer program offers teens volunteer hours helping library staff run programs, particularly children's programs, and prepare crafts for our children's areas. For example, teens have helped to set-up and clean-up programs, help run stations, keep supplies stocked, and offer assistance to program attendees. Recently, one of our volunteers even learned and demonstrated magic tricks! There are lots of opportunities available to earn hours while giving back to the library and community. Volunteering with KPL is perfect for fulfilling graduation requirements, gaining experience with independent work, and building out resumes for jobs and college applications!
