The Southwest Library will be getting new carpeting on the west side of the building starting Monday, August 31. The project is scheduled to take three weeks and, barring setbacks, be complete by Friday, September 18. For the safety of staff and patrons, the main portion of the Southwest Library will be closed off for most of the day Mondays-Thursdays and completely closed off on Fridays. On Saturday and Sunday, the library will be open with normal operating hours. During times when the main building is shut off to the public, the lobby will remain open, staffed, and accessible.
