Food Assistance Resources During Government Shutdown

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), known as FoodShare in Wisconsin is facing delays in providing benefits to eligible individuals and families during the federal government shutdown. If you or someone you know is affected and needs food assistance, there are numerous resources available in Kenosha County. You’re not alone!

Below is a list of various local organizations that offer food assistance in Kenosha County or can help connect you to resources. 

KUSD
KUSD offers free breakfast and lunch for all students, which will continue through the end of the 2025-26 school year.
