Uptown Celebration: Game On @ Uptown- A Hundred Years of Fun!
Get ready to level up in honor of Uptown Library's 100th birthday! Elite Gamin will be onsite to host a video game tournament that brings together gamers of all levels for an exciting day of competition, prizes, food and celebration. Whether you’re here to test your skills or just have fun, you’ll be part of a special event marking a century of knowledge, community, and gaming. Teens 8th Grade & Up and Adult tourney players should register. Spectators are welcome!

The Gilbert M. Simmons Library, a cornerstone of education and cultural enrichment, marks its 125th anniversary this year. Opened in 1900, the library has been a beacon of knowledge and learning for generations. Over the decades, it has evolved from a modest collection of books to a modern hub of digital resources, community programs, and lifelong learning opportunities. Join us to celebrate the anniversary of the inauguration day with special tours, speakers and more! This event will take place outdoors, weather permitting.
