Barbara Brattin
Director
bbrattin@mykpl.info

Barbara oversees the operation and administration of the library as well as the Kenosha County Library System, including matters related to library and system policies, finances, facilities, and personnel. She works closely with library staff and key partners county-wide to ensure progress is made with the library and library system long-term strategic goals and annual objectives. She serves on the Community Investment Committee for United Way of Kenosha County, the Leadership Table for Building Our Future, and as a Readers are Leaders volunteer. Barbara is also a recognized leader in the professional library community, serving as Board Chair-Elect for Wisconsin Library Services.

Linda Noyce
Division Head of Public Services
lnoyce@mykpl.info

Linda manages the KPL Public Services Division and is an ideas person who became a librarian to help those around her. She wholeheartedly believes in the magic of public libraries and their potential impact on any community. When she is not at the library, she loves running, playing with her two dogs (Sunny and Pete), and debating on just about anything with her partner.

Rob Nunez
Division Head for Support Services
rnunez@mykpl.info

Rob manages the IT, Collections, and Build Grounds & Maintenance Departments. When not helping out on the reference desk, he is negotiating contracts, reviewing new technologies for the library, experimenting with machine learning, and helping where he can. He is also a co-author of the ALA Bill of Rights Article VII and a privacy advocate. When away from the office, Rob is working on his home, car, and remote troubleshooting his parent's computers.

Michelle Eisenhauer
Head of Administrative Services

Heather Thompson
Head of Youth & Family Services
hthompson@mykpl.info

Shannon Urban
Head of Adult & Digital Services
surban@mykpl.info

Michelle wears many hats at the Kenosha Public Library. When not assisting in the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees, she can be found leading and contributing to teams like the KPL Safety Team, Green Team, and Wellness Committee. Off the clock, Michelle remains an avid reader and devoted grandmother and enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.

Heather believes that the public library is the best place for families to learn, play, and connect. She thinks there is nothing better than seeing a child light up when discovering something new! Sponsored by the Public Library Association as a 2017 ALA Emerging Leader and was named a 2019 Mover & Shaker by Library Journal, Heather regularly speaks about program development and early childhood literacy initiatives at library conferences nationwide. Heather loves learning alongside families in STEAM programs and yoga classes, cooking, reading nonfiction, and hanging out with her husband and their two cats.

As a manager, Shannon is responsible for providing an excellent patron experience and collaborating with other leaders to bring the KPL vision to the community.  As a librarian, she is responsible for selecting graphic novels, manga, and Fantasy/Sci-Fi books for the collection.  Shannon also leads the Fantasy/Sci-Fi book club and other programs and loves recommending books to other avid readers.  In her spare time, she watches a lot of Asian dramas and will happily recommend them too.

Brandi Cummings
Head of Community Programs & Partnerships
bcummings@mykpl.info

Marcia oversees Outreach Services, including bookmobile stops, community events, senior and family programs, home delivery, and youth outreach visits in STEM and literacy enrichment. She loves reading, baking, traveling, and following her favorite Youtubers and nature walks with her dog and husband in her spare time. She also serves on the Board of Directors for our community partner, Kenosha Community Media.

Jennifer received coordinated MLIS and Master of Music degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 2015. She has worked in various public and academic institutions roles, currently serving as a branch manager for the Kenosha Public Library. She enjoys bringing her creativity and experience as a musician to inspire her work in librarianship. She also enjoys performing choral music, playing cozy games on her Nintendo Switch, and spending time with her family.

Brandi's kindergarten teacher once wrote, "Brandi could not finish her art project because she was far too concerned with making sure her classmates had the crayons they needed for their projects." nothing much has changed since then. A fierce believer in community, connection, and caring, she started her career with the Kenosha Public Library in 2008 and worked in various roles. In her current position, Brandi oversees marketing, public relations, adult programming, and community partnerships. When not plotting her next program or spotlighting the work of her coworkers, Brandi can be found volunteering throughout the community or road tripping with her wife.
